Patch tests
Patch tests are optional and not compulsory before having a full set. This is due to the fact that lash adhesive shouldn’t come into direct contact with the skin.
However, they are recommended with clients discretion and it is encouraged to undergo a patch test if they have known latex and cryanoacrylate allergies or has never had lash extensions before.
A patch test is done by applying a few lashes on each eye, but the exposure from this compared to a full set isn’t enough to show if an allergy is present. usually patch tests are developed overtime.
Patch tests are free of charge and should be done 48 hours before having a full set. If you choose not to have a patch test, you will have to sign a form that states that you have agreed to go forward with the appointment without a patch test and i will not be held liable for any allergies that may occur.
Appointments
Please come to your appointment with clean lashes and no makeup around the eye area so I can spend most of the appointment time lashing.
Please come to your appointment on time, not late or any more than 5 minutes early. If you are running late please let me know. I will have to cancel/reschedule your appointment if you are over 15 minutes late and don’t let me know.
Please come to your appointment alone as I don’t have a waiting area or space to seat people during appointments.
Remove eye contacts if you wear them.
Infills
When coming for an infill, ensure you have 30% of your lashes left as it will be classed as a full set if not.
Infills are recommended around every 3 weeks depending on your lash fallout during that period of time.
